I have created this site to share my love and passion for Country music, with any one of you out there that appreciates true COUNTRY Music my love for this music started many years ago when I was brought up listening to Slim Whitman and Jim Reeves and as the years went on my two children was brought up listening to great artists such as Slim Whitman/Tammy Wynette/ Billy Jo Spears/ George Jones & Charlie Pride just to name a few.
As my kids grew up I started going out to see British Country bands when I came across a great guy called George Moody and his Country Squires well I was hooked once again and could not get enough of him. I helped a friend run a country music club for a few years meeting some great British bands the club eventually closed after a fire destroyed the building.
I met my husband John in 1986 and soon converted him to singers such as Don Williams and George Jones we started going to a local club called The General Lee in Swanscombe Kent on a warm August evening back in 1996 I came across a young new comer to the circuit his name Henry Smith and the Dalton Boys wow could he sing he sang every song from every American country Artist that I loved we had Alan Jackson,Dwight Yoakam, Garth Brooks,George Strait you name them and he sang them. I have been a follower and Fan of Henry Smith and Country Dreams (now known as) ever since that night. So if you want a British act that tops them all go see Henry Smith a must for all True Country Music Lovers you will not be dissapointed.!!!!
